Sarah Metzler joined Central West Ballet in 2004. Mrs. Metzler has distinguished herself as Elizabeth Lavenza in René Daveluy's Frankenstein, or the Modern Prometheus, as Mina Murray in Daveluy's Dracula, as Odette/Odile in Swan Lake, as Cinderella, as Swanhilda in Coppélia, as the Sugar Plum Fairy in The Nutcracker, as Wendy in Peter Pan, in George Balanchine's Who Cares? (Who Cares? Pas de Deux), as well as Balanchine's Valse Fantaisie and Serenade (First Movement), in Val Caniparoli's Violin and in Caniparoli's Songs, as well as in the 1st Pas de Deux from She Only Remembers (Music by Dale Trumbore and choreography by René Daveluy).

Mrs. Metzler has also made her mark in the repertoire created by René Daveluy such as the Intermezzo from L'Arlésienne, The Old Castle from Pictures at an Exhibition, Adventuresque from Love Duets, World of West and Starboard from Pirates, Cowboys and Damsels, as lead Arcadian in Coppelia, the Gypsy Duet in Dracula, as a reporter in A Parisian in New York, Summer Adventures from Summer Rhapsody, Awakening and Ascension from Beneath Existence, as a James Bond Sugar Rum in Nutcracker in Jazz (Choreographed by Nicole Firpo Felver), in the Persian Dance from 1001 Nights, the Peasant Pas de Deux from Giselle, in Gypsies from House of Folk, as the Waltz of the Flowers Queen, Snow Queen and Arabian Pas de Deux in The Nutcracker, in the Waltz in Jazz from Nutcracker in Jazz, and in the supporting roles of Alessandra & Bianca in Romeo and Juliet. Other noteworthy performances include She Only Remembers, Pirates, Cowboys and Damsels, the Opening from Canvas Emotions, Pictures at an Exhibition, L'Arlésienne, Summer Rhapsody, Love Duets, Purple Tribute, The Existence Project, Irish Suite, King Of Pop, CWB Rocks, Solitary Workers, Rat Pack in Revue, That's Showbiz!, Romancing the Stage, Nature’s Rite and in Fugit and Daveluy's Peter and the Wolf and Coppélia. .

Sarah Metzler has also made her mark in a Pas de Deux entitled Hurt, choreographed by Alyssa Milano Hightower and in Rampancy, choreographed by Erikka Reenstierna-Cates.
